At the Barbara and Bobby Price Legacy Fund, we believe education is one of the most powerful investments we can make in the next generation. We're proud to introduce the recipients of our 2026 scholarships, students who exemplify resilience, academic dedication, and a genuine commitment to their communities.
Our scholarship programs are built on a simple but enduring idea: that the right support at the right moment can change the trajectory of a life. This year's recipients rose to the top of a competitive applicant pool not just through academic achievement, but through their character, their service, and the boldness of their aspirations.
Why Our Scholars Are Here:
Lia T. - 2026 Price Legacy Scholarship Winner
"I redesign youth spaces so they function long after I leave. I have built statewide systems, launched citywide action in four days, and stepped into roles no blueprint existed for. I secure funding, track impact, and refine strategy until ideas become durable institutions rather than temporary moments."
Kaden R. - 2026 Bobby Joe Price Scholarship Winner
Luke M. - 2026 Barbara Price Scholarship Winner
"Researched cancer gene expression and showcased a research poster to peers and faculty at COSMOS summer program. Successfully performed surgery on my pet chicken when no other vets were available to do it. Revived my school's Garden Club and increased membership fivefold. Consistently volunteered for environmental restoration projects."
Each of these scholars lives out our mission every day by pursuing education with purpose and pushing forward despite real obstacles. Their stories are a powerful reminder of why access to higher education matters and why every contribution to this work leaves a lasting mark.
Please join us in honoring their achievements and cheering them on as they step into their next chapters.
None of this is possible without our incredible community of applicants, supporters, and donors. If you'd like to stand behind students like Lia, Kaden, and Luke, we invite you to share our message and consider making a tax-deductible donation to our nonprofit. Every bit helps dismantle the financial and resource barriers to higher education.
